1993 Thesis Project- Bayou Sauvage
Yesterday I was fishing down in the Rigolets between New Orleans East and Slidell and drove by the site of this 5th year project I did in the late Charles Colbert's studio.
It was part of a class theme to develop the area of Bayou Sauvage on Hwy 90 but this was the more esoteric of the programmed buildings. A pyramid, in the marsh, allowing views as well as show off natural native flora and fauna..and doubled as a hurricance shelter for people in the area.
